The Riu Florida Beach hotel is located on Collins Avenue in Miami and is conveniently located close to all the hotspots in Miami. The Art Deco is located less than two miles away from the location and so is the Lincoln Avenue. The hotel is currently closed for renovations so you might want to check before you go there.
The hotel is ocean front with most rooms providing an ocean view. It is a three star property with more than 250 rooms and the hotel has a tropical feel about it with its ocean style décor and furnishings. The main lobby has computer terminals and internet access is available in guest rooms.

Riu Florida hotel has more than 250 rooms and suites to choose from and you can ask for a room with a view. There are ten different floors that have rooms. All the rooms at the hotel have amenities like satellite TV, computer access, mini bar, a direct phone, refrigerator and a bathroom with hairdryer and sink in tubs. Some of the bigger suites have larger bathrooms with shower compartments and an in room safe. Children under 13 can stay with parents without added costs which help a lot to those who are travelling with families. It might not be as grand as some of the other Miami hotels but the rooms are still quite comfortable and have all the basic facilities.
Dining
The Riu Florida hotel has its own restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner both indoor and outdoors. The menu features fresh sea food and dishes that use local produce with Caribbean and Mediterranean flavors. There is also a bar that doubles up as a lounge for those who are interested in spending a relaxed evening with a drink and some music. The lounge has a relaxed casual atmosphere about it that has no pretences. Drinks and snacks can be ordered at poolside as well.

On the whole, the hotel does not offer as many facilities as some of the other hotels in Miami but for the price it charges the facilities are still good.
